There is good news to CAC this summer that CAC won the silver medal in Ecovadis project with 55 scores after 3 months efforts.

1.  What does 55 score mean in the industry?

?   Higher than 76% evaluated company

?   Best performance in CAC records

?   Far better than average scores-34.2 of large-scale chemical enterprise and 38.5 of medium-small scales chemical enterprise.

?   CAC’s performance is ahead of industry basing on SGS

2.  How can we achieve such high scores in evaluation？

?   CAC invite the SGS company to improve CSR team and its operation system, helping CSR team fully understand and conduct consultant’s ideas. In addition, CSR members took great efforts to accelerate process with high standards.

?   Eliminate existing negative factor with clear focus.

?   Adjust coping strategy with the circumstances change to increase the performance

?   CAC CSR team has joined UN Global Compact which brought positive effect to this evaluation.

?   Supporting documents, especially CSR report, were prepared basing on official GRI Standard and reviewed by authorized SGS organization. This is the core pluses part for this Evaluation.  

3.  Improving direction in future

?   Further detailed policy documents.

?   To increase the coverage of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 certificate 

?   The statistics of environment and labor rights should be more accurate in daily operation.

?   To conduct business ethics and sustainable purchase with clear management and records.

It’s CSR members and all participant’s support made CAC has so excellent performance

    Chairman Farmer Tin addressed congratulation to all CSR members and expressed high expectation once he knew. He confirmed many aspects such as production equipment, management and company culture, etc. has largely improved in past years, 55 Scores is the best evidence. And Farmer also called for business department to make full use of this EcoVadis evaluation result, built CAC image as a sustainable & reliable supplier in the industry.
