As 2020 went by 2021 has arrived and all people looking forward a new page. All CAC editorial team members sincerely hope for the best for all CAC customers, friends and staff!

2020 was an extraordinary year in history. We experienced the sudden coronavirus pandemic spread around the world, went through intricate and complex international situation, faced server anti-globalization trends and world-wide economy recession. Despite these negative factors, China is the first major economy to achieve positive growth and become economic recovery momentum after pandemic is under control domestically.

We delighted to see the overall agrochemical industry soaring despite the negative economy environment and grew up to be an eye-catching point in the chemical industry. Took this chance CAC have completed various targets which benefited from encouraging industry trends and advance layout. In the course of 2020, CAC made deal with Syngenta on cyproflanilide, and roll out tembotrione field trail over the country. Our QHSE management has great improved and CAC got silver medal in EcoVadis evaluation, with a record high scores. At the same time, commercial team put great efforts to explore international business especially in Europe and Latin America. In addition, IPO process was promoted successfully as plan.

Nevertheless we shall aware negative factors following us in near future, such as industrial chain breakdown, low investment and consumer ability led great economy recession. In addition, we expect fierce competition due to overcapacity after work resumption and more and more stringent regulations of environment & security which bring another round of difficulties of cost and competition. 

Good foundation has been built in 2020 such extraordinary difficult year. How to keep crisis consciousness in upcoming 2021 and create our own new era with unremitting efforts of the folks are the main responsible for all CAC members.

In 2021, all CAC members should stand in unity, spare no effects to form CAC core competitiveness in agrochemical and fine chemical fields. We would concentrate on important projects including intermediate and formulation production construction, I-785 new molecules development, implement off-patent product production such as Prothioconazole and Tembotrione, promote IPO, and deepen QHSE & integrated supply chain.

The New Year has come, we will continue to strive with courage, and create brighter future in “Bull” 2021!
